Research has shown that, in times of crisis, the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children skyrockets. Analysis confirms that reports of child exploitation - in particular online exploitation - have skyrocketed during the pandemic.

ECPAT-USA has provided information for youth, parents and guardians, and educators detailing the ways they can protect themselves and their children from sexual exploitation. Each guide is available for free online and can be easily downloaded and shared with others.
